Learning to AP Around the House. For the last week in July, I worked with 15 other AP Art & Design teachers on ways of designing projects for students in remote learning. We focused on designing AP projects using ordinary media around the house. I created this mixed media collage (titled COVID Landscape) using acrylic medium to affix dryer lint to illustration board for clouds and the crumpled Sporting Green section of the SF Chronicle for the landscape. Cut-outs of figures and objects from magazines provided the subjects of isolation. I designed this student slideshow for an AP collage project using ordinary materials.
