Lauren Goody

Lauren Goody is a Marketing Executive from New York City who settled in Palo Alto in 2014. She and her husband, Michael, are the proud parents of two PAUSD high school students (PALY) who have attended PAUSD schools since kindergarten and first grade. Lauren has been an active PAUSD and Palo Alto community volunteer for over 9 years. Lauren enjoys volunteer opportunities that bring her closer to her children and those that allow her to leverage her professional skills. Lauren has volunteered in the classroom and at various school events, was a Girl Scout Troop leader for several years and has served as team parent for her children’s various school and club sports teams. Together, Lauren and her family also love to foster puppies via DPS Rescue in Palo Alto.

Lauren has nearly twenty-five years of professional experience and spent fifteen years as a marketing leader at Google in NYC and CA. She currently serves as a senior digital marketing consultant who advises companies of all sizes on integrated marketing strategies. Throughout her career, Lauren mentored dozens of colleagues and held leadership positions within the Women@Google employee resource group. Lauren graduated with her B.A. in English Literature from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, where she first met her husband. Lauren loves to travel with her family, ski, play tennis and pickleball and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends both near and far.
