Rochna Dhand

Rochna Dhand has lived in Palo Alto for more than 16 years. She has two kids—a sophomore daughter at Paly and an 8th grade son at Greene. Both kids have been at PAUSD since the Young 5s program and kindergarten at Duveneck. Rochna has been very engaged in PAUSD and the surrounding community. She is serving her second year as an Executive Board member on the Paly PTSA. Previously she has served on the Duveneck Elementary PTA, taught kids via the Ravenswood Classroom Partners program in East Palo Alto and participated in several other volunteer opportunities.

Rochna is taking an extended sabbatical from her tech career of 25 years holding leadership positions at several tech-startups in the Bay Area. Her last active role was as a Product Management Executive at HPE.

Rochna grew up in India and got her Computer Engineering degree from Mumbai University. This gives her a global perspective on education. She holds a Masters in Computer Science from Clemson University.
