Sophie Che

Sophie Che is a parent to two Fairmeadow students. She has been an active school volunteer since her older child started Kindergarten at Nixon. In addition to event volunteering, Sophie served on the Fairmeadow PTA Executive Board for three years, as Parliamentarian for one year and as Treasurer for two years. Sophie also started the Math Kangaroo center at Fairmeadow in 2019 and has served as the center manager since then.

Sophie earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware. After she graduated, she worked at Amazon for several years in Seattle. In 2013, she moved to the Bay Area with her family when she joined Google. Sophie enjoys spending time on gardening and organizing the house. She loves jogging, biking, and swimming with her family and friends.
