Saki Matayoshi

Both Japanese 1A and Japanese 1B classes had a lot of fun making Spam musubi. Ms. Matayoshi was able to teach Japanese table manners, and Spam musubi recipe through hands on experience. Students had an opportunity to experience making a Japanese cuisine and some students cook it at home for their family.

Ms. Matayoshi used to show YouTube videos so students can watch Japanese table manners. However, with the cooking equipment that PiE granted them to buy made a huge difference in students learning. Students remember this experience. Thank you for funding the equipment grant!
