Silvana Gaia

Silvana Gaia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering. She started her career as a Programmer with a focus on Data Analytics. Later, she became a Project Manager and was responsible for overseeing and coordinating the execution of complex projects and initiatives for global companies.

In 2017, she moved with her family to the Bay Area from Argentina to open Belatrix’s Software headquarters in Silicon Valley. Her leadership in establishing the company in the USA marked a milestone in her career and played a crucial role in the organization’s growth, successfully acquired by a public company in 2019.

Silvana is an active member of LeanIn.Org, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering women and creating a more equal world. She co-founded the Women In Silicon Valley Network and is passionate about supporting women to thrive. Additionally, she works as a Leadership & DEI Consultant, helping companies build more inclusive workplaces.

She lives in Palo Alto with her husband and two children, both actively participating in the enriching opportunities provided by PiE.
