Since her first school board meeting as a student rep in 6th grade, Célia René-Corail has never stopped supporting and engaging in her school communities. She believes in public education and, for the past 15 years, from K-12 to college, has been an active parent volunteer and executive leader in various Parent Councils, PTAs, School Boosters, and Advisory Committees in both the U.S. and French school systems. Her family moved from Paris to Palo Alto in 2019, and her three children have attended PAUSD schools at every level, from elementary to high school.

Célia is a passionate design thinker with a rich background in marketing strategy and a sweet spot for creating meaningful experiences, products, and services for kids and families. She holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from EDC Paris Business School and several certifications in Design Thinking from IDEO U and Stanford University, where she now helps learners and professionals embrace a more creative and human-centered approach to problem-solving and innovation. With roots on four continents, she is also an avid genealogist, among many other hobbies.
