Estelle Zhao
Campaign Director of Elementary Schools
Estelle Zhao began her volunteer work when her son Ray Ray enrolled at the preschool at 4-years-old. She has been deeply involved in community-building initiatives, serving as the VP Program at Fairmeadow PTA and leading programs such as Math Night, the lunch noon table, and the China table at the International Fair. Estelle has also represented PiE at Fairmeadow. She is VP of Community Service of JLS, and VP of Fundraising for the JLS Connections.
With a passion for fostering community bonds, Estelle has dedicated nearly seven years to the board of the Fudan University Alumni Association of Northern California. Her efforts have included organizing parenting lectures, story times, multicultural potlucks, Easter egg hunts, children’s flea markets, and numerous events for the Chinese Parenting Community. Additionally, she is a member of the Chinese Drama Club.
Estelle holds a master’s degree in political science from Fudan University in China. She has translated three books published in China, including “The Military Revolution and Political Change: Origins of Democracy and Autocracy in Early Modern Europe,” “The Dolphin Way: A Parent’s Guide to Raising Healthy, Happy, and Motivated Kids-Without Turning into a Tiger,” and “Teenagers Learn What They Live: Parenting to Inspire Integrity & Independence.”
