John Young
Director of Development, Leadership Circle & Community
John Young is the proud dad of two boys flourishing at Greene. He is a member of the Greene PTA (Parliamentarian, Parent Networks), and a veteran of the Addison PTA (VP Comms, Parliamentarian, NomCom many times) in addition to serving on the PiE Board.
John is a Realtor at Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty where he works with his wife helping exceptional people buy, sell, and build homes in Palo Alto and the mid-Peninsula. He has developed eight Silicon Valley homes from the ground up. In his past, he produced online games for hot startups, invested as a venture capitalist, and worked on film sets.
A graduate of Columbia University’s MBA program and Queen’s University in Canada, John has lived in Palo Alto since 2006, and previously defined home as New York City, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Winnipeg.
