Julia Murphy-Chutorian
Vice President, Governance

Julia Murphy-Chutorian moved to the Peninsula with her husband after graduate school to pursue their careers. She spent five years as a Trust & Estate attorney before stepping away to focus on raising their growing family. Julia holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, and a law degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego.
As a dedicated stay-at-home mom, Julia became actively involved in her children’s education, beginning her volunteer work with the Escondido Elementary School PTA. Over the years, she has held several leadership roles within the Escondido PTA. As her children advanced to middle school, Julia expanded her volunteer efforts to Greene Middle School, where she served as Executive Vice President and now holds the position of President. In addition to her work with the PTA, Julia was also deeply involved in Girl Scouts.
Outside of volunteering, Julia enjoys spending time with her family and two large dogs—hiking, cooking, dabbling in photography, playing volleyball, hosting dinners with friends, and traveling.
