Naomi Wang

Naomi Wang is the proud parent of two PAUSD students who have taken the Hoover, JLS, and Gunn trajectory. During the time that her children attended elementary school, she led a Girl Scout troop (kindergarten – 5th grade) and served on the PTA board as well as managed responsibilities as a room parent and Project Cornerstone ABC reader, often using PTO to be present in her children’s lives. After transitioning from a long San Francisco commute to being remote, she used the freed-up time to provide additional support of developmental assets that help young people grow up healthy, caring, and responsible. She continues to serve as an executive board member for Gunn PTSA (currently as the Hospitality and Staff Appreciation chair), organizes parent network events, and manages social media and promotions with her daughter for Gunn Sports Boosters. She and her daughter share a love of photography as a relaxing hobby that sparks joy. Naomi is a social introvert and early bird. When she is not recharging at her secret hideout, you can find Naomi connecting with her community, working out with gym buddies, enjoying game nights with friends and neighbors, relaxing with her family, exchanging ideas with book club and church friends, traveling, or volunteering for causes dear to her heart.
