Nishita Kothary

Nishita Kothary has a daughter who is a senior and a son who is a freshman at Paly. She’s lived in Palo Alto since 2006 and has been an active member of the community and PAUSD. She has had the privilege of living all over the world—growing up in Mumbai and then living on the East Coast in New York, Philly, and DC.

Nishita has been involved in various roles within PAUSD over the years, including as PTA President at Addison, Site Council Member at Addison, Greene and Paly, and Room Parent and Parent Network Coordinator at several schools.

Professionally, Nishita is a full-time physician at Stanford. She truly believes in the power of collaboration between the school, parents, and the community, and thinks PiE plays a key role in fostering that partnership.
