Orit Vidas-Horovitz

Orit Vidas-Horovitz has been a volunteer in Palo Alto schools for over 10 years. She has volunteered in the classroom and as a room parent. For several years she co-chaired various events including Duveneck’s Ice Skating Party and Duveneck’s “Just Parties” fundraising event. Orit served on the Duveneck PTA Executive Board for three years including two years as Treasurer and one year as VP Ways and Means. She served on the Greene PTA Executive Board for two years as Treasurer. She is currently holding an executive board member position with the Paly Instrumental Music Boosters and continues to volunteer with other organizations in the bay area.

Orit’s professional background includes over 20 years of experience in marketing, focusing on research, data and analysis, working mainly on campaigns in the Financial Services industry. She holds an M.B.A. and a B.A. in Economics and Management. Orit and her husband Oded are the proud parents of three kids who have all attended PAUSD schools. They currently have one child attending Paly. In her free time Orit enjoys practicing yoga, skiing, playing tennis and walking around the neighborhood with Forest, the family dog.
