PiE’s funding my position in particular, has allowed me to provide much needed mental health support to our students. I have been also been able to help build our multi-tiered systems of support across academic and socio-emotional domains, as well as train our entire staff on restorative practices. I share the belief with our leadership that these are critical components for building a healthy, supportive school that gives all of our students the best opportunity to thrive to succeed.It has been an absolute joy to see the growth in my students and to witness them overcome challenges on a daily basis.
